I will be revamping this blog in a few weeks. This blog will be dedicated to the Japanese Occupation of Singapore.
After a long discussion with my students, I was appalled to find out that many of them do not see the impact of the Occupation in shaping the future of Singapore. They assumed that the Imperial Japanese simply came, had a good time, and left.
In this blog I will explain and explore this darkest hour in Singapore's history.
